Questions before
the first call.
Pricing, ownership, hosting, SEO, updates and what happens after launch. The practical answers in one place.
The current DGL launch offer starts at £349 for a straightforward bespoke business website. Projects that need e-commerce, admin tools, booking systems or other custom functionality are scoped separately.
Up to four core pages, bespoke visual direction, responsive/mobile optimisation, SEO foundations and metadata, a contact or enquiry route, performance-conscious development and Cloudflare-ready deployment.
It covers hosting and ongoing support for the live website. Larger redesigns, new pages or new functionality can be quoted separately when required.
A straightforward site can move quickly once content and direction are agreed. The exact timeline depends on the amount of content, feedback rounds and functionality, so DGL confirms the delivery plan before the build starts.
The website is built for your business. Project-specific ownership and handover terms are confirmed before work begins, while any third-party software, fonts, stock assets or services remain subject to their own licences.
Yes where self-management is useful. DGL can build an admin area or content-management route for projects that need regular updates, or keep a simpler site deliberately lean when you would rather not manage it.
Yes. Small support items can sit within the ongoing relationship, while larger additions or new functionality can be scoped separately.
Hosting is provided through the £25/month hosting and support service rather than included in the one-off build fee.
Yes. Responsive behaviour is considered as part of the build, not treated as a desktop design that is squeezed down afterwards.
SEO foundations are included: semantic structure, metadata, mobile usability, performance-conscious development and a crawlable page structure. Ongoing SEO campaigns, content production or link-building are separate services if required.
Yes. DGL can replace an outdated or underperforming website while preserving what is useful and rebuilding the visual direction, structure and customer journey around the business today.
Yes. E-commerce sits outside the £349 four-page offer and is scoped around products, payments, stock management, email flows and the admin experience required.
Yes. Where hosting is billed as a Stripe subscription, cancellation is set to take effect at the end of the paid billing period rather than immediately taking the website offline.
The website remains active through the period already paid for. After the hosting service ends, continued hosting is no longer included and the site may be suspended unless another hosting or handover arrangement has been agreed.
Yes. DGL can help connect or manage domain settings as part of a project. Domain registration or renewal charges from the registrar remain separate where applicable.
Yes. Custom admin systems, product platforms, email workflows, booking journeys and other tailored functionality can be scoped around the actual requirement rather than forced into a package.
Tell DGL about the business, the current website and what you want to improve. Where the project is a good fit, DGL can create a no-obligation visual direction so you can see the potential before deciding whether to proceed.
Still deciding? See the direction first.
